Australia’s Translational Research Institute (TRI) is hosting international and national scientists, clinicians, politicians and thought leaders at a three-day summit on innovation and translation in imaging.
This summit begins on Tuesday 1 March 2016 with the official opening of the TRI Innovation and Translation Centre (IAT Centre) in collaboration with Siemens Healthcare. The IAT Centre will operate along the same lines as the highly productive Martinos Biomedical Imaging Centre linking Harvard Medical School, MIT and the Massachusetts General Hospital. It represents the vision outlined in both the Federal Government’s recently launched National Innovation and Science Agenda and the Queensland State Government’s Advance Queensland initiative, which has already provided significant funding.
The TRI International Innovation and Translation in Imaging Symposium will be on Wednesday 2 March 2016 featuring international researches and leaders from multinational organisations, followed by workshops on Thursday 3 March examining specific challenges in the innovation process, sharing experiences and forming ongoing relationships.
