Education is one of the cornerstones of an academic health science centre. The co-location of university functions on our partner sites forges strong links that enable direct translation of research learnings into clinical practice, and the involvement of researchers and clinical researchers in the teaching and training of both students and health professionals.
BDHP offers the full range of training and education from complex technical training sessions through to more general support and training relating to implementation science, improved research techniques and practical application. We are committed to continuing to build this capacity and a health workforce that efficiently and effectively delivers quality health care using all available knowledge and capability, and generates new discoveries and models of care to drive continuous improvement.
To support education across its Themes, BDHP has established a Working Group to identify and promote the educational activities delivered by the partners and further integrate education into the clinical and research initiatives of the BDHP.
