Associate Professor Andy Moore

Associate Professor Andy Moore is a Paediatric Oncologist and Director, Clinical & Biomedical Research at Children’s Health Queensland Hospital & Health Service (CHQ). He is also Director of the Queensland Children’s Tumour Bank, which is part of UQ’s Child Health Research Centre. The Queensland Children’s Tumour Bank is a unique resource located on the Queensland Children’s Hospital precinct, facilitating local, national and international collaborative research across all childhood cancer types. Dr Moore’s clinical and research interests focus on childhood leukaemia, particularly acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), an aggressive form of leukaemia with a poor prognosis.
