Professor Leonard Gray

Professor Gray is an experienced clinical researcher, health administrator and geriatrician.  He leads the NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence in Telehealth, and is a lead researcher in the NHMRC Cognitive Decline Partnership Centre.

Internationally, within the interRAI Research Collaboration, he leads a group of 30 clinicians and scientists who develop and implement assessment and clinical decision support systems around functional and psychosocial problems in the hospital setting.

His research has resulted in new models of geriatric care mediated by telehealth; software systems that provide clinical decision support in aged care; and, at a policy level, changes to the Medical Benefits Schedule to facilitate telehealth.
